Dean Phillips is an American millionaire businessman and a respected Democratic politician who currently serves as a member of the US House of Representatives from Minnesota’s 3rd congressional district. His district includes the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, such as Bloomington, Minnetonka, Edina, Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Eden Prairie.

Dean Phillips won the first election of Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District in the year 2018 by defeating Republican leader Eric Paulsen by 41563 votes, since then he is serving his third consecutive term (2020 and 2022). He is the first Democratic leader to hold this post since 1958.
