American Actor Samuel Leroy Jackson is the most successful of his generation and the highest grossing film actor of all time. His films have earned about $30 billion so far.

On June 21, the premium launch of " Secret Invasion" on the Disney series features Samuel L. Jackson assembling a special team to stop the villainous Skrulls from conquering Earth.

The Series of "Secret Invasion" stars an all star supporting cast including Jackson , Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben Adir, Don Cheadle and Olivia Coleman.

Jackson has been nominated for numerous awards, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Pulp Fiction," and has won several awards, including a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Jungle Fever."

Jackson began his career in the 1970s appearing in small roles in films such as "Together for Days" and "The Displaced person."

Jackson has since appeared in many other films, including "Jackie Brown," "The Avengers" and its Sequels, "Django Unchained,"  and "Kong: Skull Island," among others.

Jackson is a prolific actor who involved in various charitable and humanitarian causes, and has served as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme.

Jackson married actress and producer "La Tanya Richardson" in 1980 and he has a daughter named Zoe Jackson.

Jackson co-founded the acting group, "Just Us Theatre", while in College, and later became the apprentice of Morgan Freeman. He was one of the ushers at Martin Luther king Jr.'s funeral.
