Marc Carmichael is an American politician who was born on February 21, 1950 in Muncie, Indiana, USA.
Carmichael represented the 35th District in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1986 to 1991.
Carmichael is a member of the Democratic Party and has served as director of government affairs for the Indiana Gas Company. He was the president of the Indiana Beverage Alliance from 1999 to 2020.
Carmichael lost to democratic Valerie McCray in the recent Indiana gubernatorial primary.
Marc Carmichael's full name is Robert Mark Carmichael. He was raised in Muncie, Indiana. He studied at Delta High School. After this, in 1972, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Notre Dame University.
Carmichael is survived by his three children and five grandchildren.
